2020 Portuguese Bend National Horse Show Cancelled
Dear Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital Community and Supporters –
It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the cancellation of the 63rd Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show scheduled for 9/4 – 9/6/2020 benefiting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This decision was made with love and care for our valued volunteers, exhibitors and community. The health and well-being of everyone is our highest priority.
We have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation since it unfolded and have sought guidance from the United States Equestrian Federation, as well as Los Angeles County and the City of Rolling Hills Estates. Given the current guidelines and future uncertainties, we determined that it would be an impossible feat to host a horse show that met the standard of our tradition.
We hope you will join us in September 2021 when we will once again hold our special event, which will include all three PCHA Medal Finals Classes.
